What they said
Angelo Mathews: It looks like a good batting surface; it will not turn a lot. We will give opportunities to guys who we think will take us forward.
Azhar Ali: The wicket looks good. I would have batted first as well. We will look to capitalise with the new ball. The guys are doing well and we would like to have continuity.
Series: Riding on Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad’s batting prowess, Pakistan went past the target of 257 set by Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI on Wednesday for an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. From the point of view of qualification for the 2017 Champions Trophy, the series win could prove to be very crucial for Pakistan.
Conditions: It was very windy at the time of the toss. The pitch has a tinge of green and there should be bounce on offer for the bowlers. Teams
