Pakistan’s cup of joy has well and truly spilt over.
Winning a big championship title in this day and age of social media overdose isn’t quite the same as a glory run 20 years ago, and that was reflected on Twitter, where everyone came out to applaud the performance of Sarfraz Ahmed and his boys on Monday (June 19), a day after their stunning win over India in the Champions Trophy final.

There wasn’t much of note in the Indian performance, but Hardik Pandya’s counter-attacking 43-ball 76 received due acknowledgement.

Pragyan Ojha and Harbhajan Singh, meanwhile, felt fans went a little too far once in a way.
Saddened with the reactions coming from few parts of our country, #IndvsPakFinals. One game & legends are compared to traitors????

And Rohit Sharma emphasised the need for Indian fans to move on.
Not an ideal result, we are all dejected. But I know this is a brilliant cricket team, one bad game doesn't change anything. We move on!!

The Champions Trophy missed the Carribean flavour and Darren Sammy was worried about how things were going back home.
Just makes it harder and harder for @westindies we need to start gathering some ranking points https://t.co/eRbhwVdywk
