Pakistan’s cup of joy has well and truly spilt over.

Winning a big championship title in this day and age of social media overdose isn’t quite the same as a glory run 20 years ago, and that was reflected on Twitter, where everyone came out to applaud the performance of Sarfraz Ahmed and his boys on Monday (June 19), a day after their stunning win over India in the Champions Trophy final.

The architects of the win were understandably delirious with joy.

There wasn’t much of note in the Indian performance, but Hardik Pandya’s counter-attacking 43-ball 76 received due acknowledgement.

Pragyan Ojha and Harbhajan Singh, meanwhile, felt fans went a little too far once in a way.

And Rohit Sharma emphasised the need for Indian fans to move on.

The Champions Trophy missed the Carribean flavour and Darren Sammy was worried about how things were going back home.

Elsewhere, David Warner hasn’t been having it easy …

… while Peter Siddle had a bit of down time.

Speaking of holidays, Robin Uthappa too was having fun.

Suresh Raina was continuing to focus on his fitness.

And Kieron Pollard needed to wish himself on Father’s Day – quite sweet, that.
