Group B: Saxena six-for headlines Kerala dominance
Panchal, Juneja fifties help Gujarat nose ahead, Jaggi ton puts Jharkhand in command
A right-hand batsman of promise from Jharkhand, Ishank Jaggi started well, making 58 and 71 not out on his Ranji Trophy debut against Jammu & Kashmir in 2008 and followed this up with his maiden century in the next game, against Haryana. However, it was not until two years later, in November 2010, when Jaggi managed to replicate his early success, striking an unbeaten 200 against Hyderabad in Ranchi. Consistency has eluded Jaggi, although his List A numbers stack up favourably against those in the four-day game, suggesting that he might have a bigger role to play in the shorter versions of the game.
