Group C: All-round Mumbai clinch first win of the season
Odisha go down by 120 runs at home, while Andhra canter to eight-wicket win over MP and Baroda draw with Tripura
Dhawal Kulkarni made his Ranji Trophy debut for Mumbai in the 2008-09 season, and had a season to remember, ending as the highest wicket-taker with 42 scalps and helping Mumbai to yet another title. A bowler who relies on swing and believes in sticking to one channel, Kulkarni has picked up wickets for every team he has played for, but injuries and lack of opportunities meant that he made his One-Day International debut only in September 2014 against England. No mug with the bat, he has played crucial knocks for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and has been an important part of Rajasthan Royals’ plans in the IPL.
