Two unbeaten half centuries by Raynard van Tonder and Mitchell van Buuren helped South Africa Under-19 to a convincing seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka Under-19 in the First Youth ODI played at Oudtshoorn, South Africa yesterday.
The pair also added 169 for the unfinished fourth wicket stand as the home side cruised to their target with two overs to spare.
Earlier, Sri Lanka Under-19 were dismissed for 214 in 49 overs after they had elected to bat first despite a fighting half century from Krishan Arachchige.
