Sri Lanka made six new inclusions for the one-off Twenty20 International against India on Wednesday in Colombo.

Jeffrey Vandersay, Dasun Shanaka, Isuru Udana, Seekkuge Prasanna, Suranga Lakmal and Vikum Sanjaya are the new entrants while Kusal Mendis and Lakshan Sandakan were left out.

This will also be Upul Tharanga’s first stint as T20 skipper after Angelo Mathews’s resignation in July.

Sri Lanka go into the one-off T20I having been whitewashed by India in both the Tests (0-3) and One-Day Internationals (0-5).
