Series: Sri Lanka will look to give South Africa a tough fight after a below-par performance in the first Test, which they lost by 206 runs and conceded a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Meanwhile, the hosts will eye wrapping up the series at Newlands, a ground where they have won 19 of their 29 Tests since 1993.

Conditions: It’s a bit cool and cloudy in Cape Town compared to Port Elizabeth, but is expected to burn off once the day progresses. The trio of Vernon Philander, Kyle Abbott and Kagiso Rabada will be licking their lips after watching a significant amount of coating of grass on the pitch, but Sri Lanka’s new-look attack will fancy its chances too.
