  Commentary

  • Virat Kohli: We know exactly where it went wrong. In the last ten overs conceding this many is never a good thing. The wicket surprised us. AB and I embrace the pressure and back ourselves to chase any total. But sometimes things don't go your way. The good thing is we have two points.

  • Sanju Samson (MoM): First of all, I am grateful to play here. I am feeling good, hitting the ball well but the tournament has just started. Whatever my team wants me to do, I am happy to do.

  • Ajinkya Rahane: We knew how dangerous RCB are but Sanju was magnificent. We tried to maintain left-right combination at the top. But the way we batted in the middle overs was magnificent. My knee is slightly better. The way both spinners bowled was excellent. Sanju Samson is a future for India and we all back him.

  • Player of the match - Sanju Samson

  • A comprehensive win for Rajasthan. RCB were in the game at the halfway mark when Kohli and de Kock were batting but once Kohli got out and de Villiers didn't seem to find the timing, there was going to be only one winner. Shreyas Gopal was the most successful bowler for RR, picking up 2 for 22 from his four overs.

  Full commentary

  • Rajasthan finish with a flourish. 27 from the last over takes them to 217 for 4. Ajinkya Rahane started aggressively but it was Sanju Samson's knock of 92 off 45 which changed the game. He hit ten sixes and just two fours in his innings to take his side to a formidable total. Can RCB chase this? We'll back in 15 minutes to find out.

  • So, we will have to wait a little longer to see Archer in the IPL.

  • Ajinkya Rahane: It's important to start well and end well, whether we bowl first or bat first. The talk has been all about believing in ourselves. I think the way our bowlers bowled in the last two games was brilliant. We have the same team.

  • Virat Kohli: We are gonna bowl first today as well. The ball came on nicely under lights for the first six overs last game. So that's the idea behind it. It has become a challenging ground. The players understand one win can give you the momentum. Pawan Negi comes in for Sarfaraz Khan.

  • Royal Challengers Bangalore Won the Toss & Elected to Field

  • Here is Disha's preview:

  • IPL 11 Match 11 Bangalore v Rajasthan

Rajasthan need celebrated duo of Short and Stokes to come to the party after indifferent start to campaign

  • So far, in all the ten games, captains have opted to bowl first after winning the toss. On nine of those occasions, they have won the game as well. The only time when the team batting first emerged as a winner was Rajasthan Royals against Delhi Daredevils in a rain-affected match.

  • Pitch report: Matthew Hayden says 'it's an absolute furnace here' and the team winning the toss would be looking to bat first.

  • Disha Shetty, my colleague, is at the venue and she pings that Jofra Archer might get a game today as he has been bowling for a while now.

  • Both teams have won one game out of two so far. After losing their opening games, both teams registered a win in their second matches and would be looking to extend their winning run.

  • Hello and welcome to the 11th game of the Indian Premier League 2018. It's Royal Challengers Bangalore versus Rajasthan Royals at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

  Full commentary
